Global Environmental Legacy Foundation provides scientific and foundational support for projects that avert health threats caused by pollution.

Global Environmental Legacy Foundation is working in partnership with with the University of California Irvine (UCI) Biological Sciences to provide support for the Salton Sea Initiative. The mission is to "Protect the health of hundreds of thousand of Californians."
Ultra fine microscopic poisonous particles are becoming airborne at the Salton Sea threatening the health of people within a 100 mile radius.
These particles cause respiratory failure, cancer and other diseases. The Salton Sea Initiative Membership is designed to form a constituency that will advocate for legislation that will designate adequate funds now, and in the future, for projects that suppress poisonous particles from becoming airborne.

NUCLEAR WASTE is sitting at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station right now. The plant has been shut down for a few years and there is nowhere to move the spent fuel. So, it will stay there unless something is done to change the plan. The plan is to put spent fuel rods in metal casks, and bury them in a bunker 40 yards from the ocean. Above is video of a low level RADIOACTIVE waste dump in Nevada. This is an example of best intentions gone wrong. Do we want to take our chances at San Onofre? or do Southern Californians just want to have it stored somewhere else?

Millions of Southern Californians would be affected by a radiation leak at San Onofre. San Onofre NUCLEAR WASTE is higher level radiation than what is shown in this video.  Imagine if something like what happened in the video happened with higher level radiation.
The mission is to "Advocate for technological, transportation, and alternate location projects that result in moving NUCLEAR WASTE away from San Onofre sooner rather than later."

Working with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Global Environmental Legacy Foundation will be supporting scientific research to develop a toxic algae control system. Toxic algae can poison drinking water and kill large swaths of aquatic life over hundreds of miles.

Research & Development

Global Environmental Legacy supports brilliant minds that create safe and functional environmental products and applies them to real world applications.

On September 1st 2015, Global Environmental Legacy Foundation signed a three-year use agreement with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation at the Brackish Groundwater National Desalination Research Facility (BGNDRF) to develop the Global Water Improvement System.
Superbugs have been discovered in sewer systems, urban runoff, and in the ocean. Surfing and swimming in the ocean after rains is considered a health threat. Advantageous Systems has produced a material that quickly adsorbs biological pathogens and removes them from water. Initial testing for this chemical free process is impressive.

Advantageous Systems LLC (ADS) is a global company integrating the latest in nanotechnology, material science, and biotechnology to produce smart materials with unique functional characteristics. Application of ADS technology include medical devices, therapeutics, and clean technology products.
Selenium removal is an important part of dust suppression at the Salton Sea. Selenium is a heavy metal that bio-accumulates eventually causing birth defects in birds. Advantageous systems technology removes dangerous selenium from the environment.
